“I have to solve this right now.”
“This has to be solved right now.”
When your voice says:
“This has to be solved right now.”
“I can’t stop thinking about it until the discomfort goes away.”
Coach Lynn says:
Urgency is not always a command. Some problems need action now; others need a clear next review point.
Then you say:
Here’s what I need to do:
- Take one or more Composure Breaths to settle my body.
- Ask: “What decision actually has to be made today?”
- Identify the next time I will review the rest.
- Redirect my attention until that time arrives.
Coach Lynn says:
An urgent feeling isn’t always an urgent problem. When you decide what truly needs attention today and schedule the rest, the pressure eases and you think with a clearer head.
