“I have to fix every flaw before I can stop.”

“There’s always one more thing to change, correct, polish, or improve.”

When your voice says:

“There’s always one more thing to change, correct, polish, or improve.”

“I can’t finish yet. There might still be a flaw I missed.”

Coach Lynn says:

Some improvements are essential. Others are simply your inner critic trying to keep the work open forever.

Then you say:

Here’s what I need to do:

  • Take one or more Composure Breaths to settle my body.
  • Separate required corrections from optional refinements.
  • Put one optional refinement on a later list.
  • Stop when the task meets its agreed standard.

Coach Lynn says:

Finishing well means knowing when to stop. When you separate what’s required from what’s optional, you quiet the inner critic and free your energy for what matters next.
