“I should be able to handle it all.”

“I should be able to do it all.”

When your voice says:

“I should be able to do it all.”

“Having limits means I’m not good enough.”

Coach Lynn says:

Capacity is not a character test. Everyone has limits of time, energy, attention, and health.

Then you say:

Here’s what I need to do:

  • Take one or more Composure Breaths to settle my body.
  • Write down everything I've committed to this week, big and small.
  • Circle one item to change such as do less of it, hand it off, move it to later, or say no.
  • Mark the one or two things that matter most, and block time for them on my calendar first.

Coach Lynn says:

Limits aren't a weakness. They show you where your energy belongs. When you make room for what matters most, you stay steady and give your best where it counts.
