“I missed my chance.”
“I had my chance and I missed it.”
When your voice says:
“I had my chance and I missed it.”
“Every door is closed now.”
Coach Lynn says:
A missed chance can be painful. It does not automatically mean there are no remaining paths, only that the path may look different now.
Then you say:
Here’s what I need to do:
- Take one or more Composure Breaths to settle my body.
- Name what I wanted from the missed opportunity.
- Identify one alternative path toward that same value or goal.
- Take one step toward the path that remains.
Coach Lynn says:
The original path may be gone, but your future isn’t. When you find a new route toward what you wanted, disappointment turns into direction and possibility opens up again.
