“I’ve already wasted the day.”

“The morning’s gone, so the whole day is lost.”

When your voice says:

“The morning’s gone, so the whole day is lost.”

“I’ve already wasted so much time. Why bother now?”

Coach Lynn says:

That is all-or-nothing thinking about time. A day can be redirected at any hour.

Then you say:

Here’s what I need to do:

  • Settle my body by taking one or more Composure Breaths.
  • Choose one 10-minute recovery block.
  • Do the most useful small action available now.
  • Let that action become the new beginning of the day.

Coach Lynn says:

The day isn’t lost. The next hour is still yours. When you restart with one small action, a slow start becomes a comeback and your focus returns.
