“I don’t know where to start.”
“I can’t start until I know the best first step.”
When your voice says:
“I can’t start until I know the best first step.”
“If I don’t know where to begin, I shouldn’t begin at all.”
Coach Lynn says:
You do not need to find the perfect starting point. You need a workable one.
Then you say:
Here’s what I need to do:
- Take one or more Composure Breaths to settle my body.
- List three possible first actions.
- Choose the easiest useful one.
- Start before I compare it to the other two.
Coach Lynn says:
Choosing a starting point teaches you more than waiting for the perfect plan. When you stop overthinking and start moving, momentum follows.
