“I have plenty of time.”
“There’s no rush. I’ll do it later.”
When your voice says:
“There’s no rush. I’ll do it later.”
“Nothing bad happens if I put it off today.”
Coach Lynn says:
Time can feel abundant until the task becomes urgent. A small scheduled start protects you from the pressure of a last-minute rescue.
Then you say:
Here’s what I need to do:
- Take one or more Composure Breaths to settle my body.
- Put the first small action on today’s calendar.
- Give it a start time and a short duration.
- Treat the appointment as a promise to begin, not a demand to finish everything.
Coach Lynn says:
A task becomes real when you give it a time and place. When you quiet the distractions and reconnect with your drive, each day’s effort helps build the legacy you want.
