“I’m falling behind.”
“I’m so far behind.”
When your voice says:
“I’m so far behind.”
“Everyone’s moving and I’m stuck.”
Coach Lynn says:
“Behind” is often vague. A specific measure gives you something you can respond to. A global judgment only creates pressure.
Then you say:
Here’s what I need to do:
- Take one or more Composure Breaths to settle my body.
- Ask: “Behind on what, exactly?”
- Identify the current position and one realistic next milestone.
- Work on that milestone rather than the whole imagined gap.
Coach Lynn says:
A clear measure gives you a plan. A vague judgment creates panic. When you reset your body and ease the pressure, you can stay present and take meaningful action.
